Introduction

I was pleased to be invited to speak at the Annual General Meeting of the Oxfordshire Support Group for ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and related conditions ("OMEGA") on Saturday, March 5th 2016 from 2-4pm.

This talk concerned the following topic areas:

  • The Biological Basis of CFS/ME - the "theory"
  • The Treatment of CFS/ME - the "treatment"

OMEGA is a great organisation in the tradition of local,"on the ground", support groups and they deliver very much needed help and advice to sufferers and carers in their area. They have a useful website here - OMEGA website , which is listed, along with many other forms of support on my webpage CFS/ME support organisations - see specifically OMEGA on DoctorMyhill.co.uk

I am only too aware that many CFS sufferers find it very difficult, and often impossible, to attend seminars such as these and so I am always keen to reach these people in any other way that I can. Therefore, I am uploading my PowerPoint presentation here so that this can be accessed by all. It is in 7 parts as follows: (NB - there are more "theory" files because these include more pictures and so are bigger.)
