Senses - look after them and they will look after you
Contents |
[UPDATED DECEMBER 2022]
The crux of the matter
The senses (sight, hearing, balance, taste, smell, touch) are how the brain gets information in from the outside world. They are all extensions of the brain itself. With ageing, our senses decline. However, the rate of this decline is accelerated by toxic stress but it can be slowed by good nutrition. Hence the importance of as healthy a diet as you can manage, taking nutritional supplements regularly and avoiding toxic stress. Use of your senses with physical and mental exercise helps keep them finely tuned and functioning well.
